If you are unable to make your scheduled shift, you can drop it directly in the Driver Portal. Please note that all shifts must be dropped prior to their scheduled start time. To avoid receiving attendance points, remember to drop your shifts as early as possible.
Need to remove an upcoming shift? Just follow these steps:
Log in to the Driver Portal.
Select the Your Schedule tab.
Confirm you are reviewing the correct week: The portal defaults to the current week. If you are trying to drop a shift for next week or a future date, tap the Week dropdown filter at the top of your schedule and adjust it to select the appropriate week block.
Locate the shift you want to drop and click the Drop button next to it.
Follow the on-screen prompts, select your reason for dropping, and click Confirm.
Attendance Points & Timing
While you can drop a shift at any point before it officially starts, points are automatically applied based on how much notice you give:
- More than 48 hours before shift: 0 points
- 12 to 48 hours before shift: 1 point
- Less than 12 hours before: 2 points
For a full breakdown of how attendance points work and accumulate, please check out our Attendance Policy Article.
Using Accrued Sick Time
If you use your accrued sick time when dropping a shift, make sure to select the sick time option during the drop process. Once approved, attendance points will not be applied to that shift. For more details regarding our sick time policy, see [Article].
After You Drop a Shift
Once you confirm the drop, the shift is immediately removed from your schedule and made available for other drivers. Your attendance record will update automatically.
What if I don’t see the Drop button?
As a reminder, shifts can only be dropped before they begin. If the Drop button is not visible, it means your shift has already started and the window to drop it has closed.
Missing a shift without dropping it ahead of time is considered a No-Call, No-Show and will automatically result in 5 attendance points.
It is your responsibility to manage your schedule and drop shifts on time. However, if an unexpected emergency kept you from dropping the shift before it started, this penalty can be reviewed if you provide proper documentation to excuse the absence.
