To better support driver success and create clearer performance expectations, Alto is introducing updated coaching metrics. These metrics replace TAP as our primary weekly coaching measure and are designed to focus on actions drivers can directly control during each shift.
What metrics will be reviewed?
1. Acceptance Rate
Maintain 95% or higher
Acceptance Rate reflects the percentage of trip offers you accept while online and available for trips.
What can lower your Acceptance Rate?
- Declining trip requests
- Allowing trip offers to expire repeatedly
2. Cancellation Rate
Maintain below 3%
Cancellation Rate reflects the percentage of accepted trips that are later canceled.
What can lower performance in this area?
- Canceling trips after accepting them
3. Online Time
Maintain 85% or higher
Online Time compares your Uber online time to your scheduled Alto shift hours.
What can lower your Online Time?
- Remaining offline for extended periods during scheduled shifts
- Delays logging in at the beginning/end of shift
- Going offline outside of approved breaks
